If you can add 5-10gm of soluble fiber in your diet, it will certainly reduce LDL cholesterol to 5%. If you take a minimum of one and half cup of cooked oatmeal, it will give you 4.5gms of fiber. So positively it will enhance your body system by lowering your cholesterol level.
