Education is key to understanding healthy choices. As choices are all based on an individual’s needs and motivation, this is where most need to start. What are your desires to be healthy? What does healthy mean to you? Is it being exercising regularly, eating organic foods, seeing a doctor regularly, or even just limiting eating fast food define your idea of healthy. Most may agree that a balance of all of the above would bring good healthy choices.

So what about your skin? It is, after all, the largest of our organs and is instrumental is relieving our bodies of toxins. Shouldn’t we be particular in what we smooth over our skin? I think so. I have been reading, searching, and educating myself on the harmful man-made toxins that are in most skin care products. Through this research, I have come to the conclusion that many of the products are creating the damaging effects to our skin that they claim to be relieving.
